Smithson Farm was built in the early 1700s and is a typical Lancashire Longhouse Farm set in 11 acres. Harry and Carole Johnson bought the farm in 2004 and have spent the last eight years restoring it and establishing new garden areas.

The farm is set on the outskirts of Burnley in the Hamlet of Reedley Hallows in the Heart of Pendle Witch Country within easy reach of the villages of Barley, Newchurch in Pendle, Roughlee and Barrowford.

By car we are also less than an hour from Manchester , Leeds , the Yorkshire Dales, The Forest of Bowland, Ribble Valley and the Coastal resorts of Blackpool and Southport. We are only a few miles from the famous Boundary Mill Shopping Outlet, Oswaldtwistle Mills and within walking distance of Barden Mill and Marina.

For walkers, from here it is easy to access The Pendle Witch Trails, The Laund Booth Circular, The Bronte Way and The Leeds Liverpool Canal towpath.
